We’ve been exclusively engaged to appoint a Senior Director of HR Operations and Shared Services for the Philippine operations of a global outsourcing leader. With a strong footprint across multiple industries, this company is committed to building a people-first culture that balances compliance, fairness, and performance.

As the most senior leader to oversee Employee & Labor Relations, HR & Business Partnership, and Engagement in the Philippines, you’ll build and lead a centralized People Relations function, managing high-impact cases, enabling frontline managers, and ensuring consistency in how policy and labor law are applied. You’ll drive proactive risk management, reduce escalations, and establish a culture of trust and fairness.

You’ll collaborate with global HR partners and local leaders while shaping processes that ensure both business continuity and employee well-being.

What You’ll Own:

  • HR Operations & Shared Services. Lead the HR Shared Services team in the Philippines, ensuring efficient, compliant, high-quality service delivery. Continuously improve processes through automation, technology adoption, and performance analytics.

  • People Relations. Build and manage a central team for complex employee concerns, grievances, performance escalations, and workplace conflict, ensuring consistency and empathy in resolution.

  • Labor Relations & Compliance. Shape labor relations strategies across sites, manage compliance and legal risks, and stay ahead of Philippine labor law developments. Lead investigations and serve on incident response teams as needed.

  • Talent Engagement. Build and implement an insights-driven employee engagement program.

  • Manager Coaching. Empower frontline managers to handle performance management and conflict effectively. Deliver training on policy application, employee engagement, and performance culture.

  • Insights & Governance. Use case data and service metrics to drive improvements in HR delivery. Conduct audits, review policies, and strengthen governance frameworks.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years leading Employee Relations or Shared Services teams.

  • Deep expertise in Philippine labor law, employee relations, and labor relations practices.

  • Proven ability to design and manage tiered HR support or shared service models.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience in BPO or mature HR shared services preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field required. Graduate degree and/or HR certifications a plus.

  • Exceptional communication in English; adept at stakeholder influence and case resolution.

Location & Schedule Flexibility

This is a Philippines-based leadership role. Candidates must have deep local labor law and labor relations expertise.

The role involves close collaboration with global HR and cross-border stakeholders. Some schedule flexibility may be required to coordinate across regions.
