As a Product Owner for the Credit Card portfolio, you will be a hybrid of an outcome-driven strategist and a dedicated customer advocate. You will bridge the gap between business vision and engineering execution, ensuring that every feature launched makes a tangible difference in the lives of over 20 million customers.
📌 Product Impact: You’ll own the full lifecycle of credit card products, from problem discovery and design to growth and continuous iteration. You will navigate complex landscapes involving risk, compliance, and cutting-edge AI-enabled initiatives to deliver high-standard financial solutions.
This is a full-time role for disciplined product leaders who thrive in fast-paced fintech environments. While our primary product and engineering hub is in Ho Chi Minh City, we are open to top-tier talent across the region who are willing to relocate or can commit to frequent travel to Vietnam to lead this mission.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Product Owner - Credit Card to translate customer needs and business goals into a clear, prioritized product roadmap. This role acts as the glue between Business, Design, and Engineering, ensuring the organization evaluates the right trade-offs and delivers shippable, operationally ready features.
By owning the delivery backlog and driving cross-functional alignment, you will ensure our credit card offerings remain competitive, compliant, and deeply resonant with our target users.
The Team:
You’ll join a diverse team of innovation champions, bankers, and fintech experts. The Product team is known for its reinvention mindset, blending product direction with strong delivery execution. You will work within an international and collaborative culture that values continuous learning and leverages the latest technologies, including AWS Cloud, microservices, and AI-augmented engineering.
What You’ll Own:
Vision & Roadmap: Define and own the Credit Card product vision; evaluate priorities and navigate ambiguous trade-offs between customer needs, risk, compliance, and commercial outcomes.
Discovery & Definition: Conduct hypothesis-based problem solving to understand customer personas; translate insights into clear epics, features, and user stories.
Agile Execution & Quality Control: Orchestrate sprint cycles and technical refinements with engineering teams. You are the final gatekeeper for quality, ensuring every feature meets rigorous acceptance criteria and a high-standard Definition of Done for secure, financial-grade releases.
Data-Driven Iteration: Systematically use data to measure success, inform prioritization, and drive post-release improvements.
Stakeholder & Dependency Management: Achieve buy-in across Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Operations; manage transparent trade-offs and ensure features are operationally ready.
Tooling & Rituals: Maintain a healthy delivery roadmap in Jira (and Jira Product Discovery); facilitate effective agile rituals and document outcomes in Confluence.
AI Integration: Contribute to AI-enabled initiatives by framing problems and defining success metrics for responsible rollouts.
What You Bring To The Table:
Proven Experience: 5+ years (or equivalent track record) as a PO in high-growth tech companies, specifically leading digital products from inception to launch.
Domain Expertise: Strong preference for experience in Credit Cards (though Debit, Lending, or Payments is also relevant).
Technical Fluency: Ability to work effectively with Engineering on APIs, integrations, and instrumentation; a technical background is a significant plus.
Agile Mastery: Deep hands-on experience with Jira and the Atlassian suite; certifications in Scrum or Agile are preferred.
Execution Discipline: High quality bar with a bias toward delivery; structured, detail-oriented, and dependable.
Communication: Outstanding written and verbal English skills; ability to influence challenging stakeholders in high-stress situations.
Future-Ready: Exposure to AI/ML features and a curiosity for the latest digital trends.
Location & Schedule Flexibility
Primary Hub: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The Setup: We are looking for the best Product leaders across Southeast Asia, Australia, India, and South Africa.
